The daily condition indicator considers weather factors that can affect comfort,
control, and safety on the lake. It is intended as a planning guide for the day,
not a substitute for the detailed rental-period weather check used during booking.
Higher sustained winds can make the lake choppier and make small rental craft harder to control.
Sudden gusts can affect steering and stability even when the average wind speed looks manageable.
A higher rain probability can make a rental less comfortable and may accompany changing weather conditions.
Thunderstorm conditions are treated seriously because lightning and rapidly changing wind are not appropriate for lake rentals.
Condition guide
Wind at or below 10 mph,
gusts at or below 15 mph,
and rain chance below 50%.
Wind above 10 mph,
gusts above 15 mph,
or rain chance of 50% or greater.
Thunderstorms, wind above 17 mph,
or gusts above 22 mph.
The 5-day forecast summarizes an entire day. Rental availability is evaluated more precisely
against the forecast for the customer’s selected rental date and time.
